Here is Another Hobby to Complement Writing on Medium, Photography
Freelance writing and photography sounds like a good combination
I’ve been dabbling in photography and wanted to purchase a digital camera for beginners. With the ocean scenery and the island’s beauty, I think it’s a perfect hobby to complement my freelance writing.
I’m currently shopping for good-used digital cameras on eBay, so I don’t have to spend much on my first digital camera.
I’m in no rush to get a camera, but the first chance I get to bid on a good-priced camera, I’ll put in a bid. I was going to purchase a camera at my go-to store Best Buy, but I could save a few hundred dollars if I shopped and waited patiently for the right digital camera on eBay.
I recently had the opportunity to compare pictures from my iPhone and digital camera, which was no contest. There is a difference between a digital camera and my iPhone.
I was looking at the payouts as a shutter stock photo contributor; a person can earn 15% to 40% of the license purchase price if someone purchases your photos. The more you upload, the greater the opportunity to increase your chances of earning money.
But more importantly, I like taking pictures of scenery using my iPhone. I figured the next step was to get a digital camera.
Photography is hobby I wanted to try. I just haven’t gotten around to it — what better time to start than now?
